BLEACH YOUR HAIR NATURALLY WITH LEMON?
Lemon in the sun is not as good a home remedy as it may sound. Bleaching your hair at home with lemon juice and then being in the sun is not a good idea. It is classified as a natural way to bleach your hair, but just because it is natural does not mean it is gentle. The damage it leaves on your hair often results in a more expensive story when you do get to the hairdresser for a treatment.
- Hair becomes thinner! Lemon's low pH value (2) makes hair thinner and less full as it pulls the hair shaft together and leaves it flat.
- Your color is affected! When your hair is dyed, the hair shaft is opened up so that the pigments can attach to the cuticle and then closed again. The low pH value of the lemon means that the hair shaft is closed and has more difficulty opening up when you are going to dye it. Therefore, it is important to have your hair properly cleansed by your hairdresser before applying the color.
- It dries out the hair, the sun wears down the hair even without lemon, adding lemon makes the hair even more sensitive to the rays, this is why it naturally fades. The color is affected and important oils are reduced from the hair, giving a result that can resemble swinto.
ARE SUN AND BATHING HARMFUL TO THE HAIR?
Yes, it is wonderful when you can finally sunbathe and swim in Sweden! It is important to remember to try to protect your hair from both the sun and water. UV rays, salt water and chlorine break down your hair and reduce your hair's natural moisture level, leaving you with dry and brittle hair. An unwanted green tint in your blonde hair can occur after a lot of swimming in the pool. The pool water leaves deposits, lime and minerals in your hair that must be cleaned by your hairdresser before a new treatment begins.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN A COOL TONE IN THE SUMMER?
A blonde shade can have both a golden or white tone. Many people want to maintain the cool/ashy tone they have after their hairdressing visit.
Unfortunately, a lot of swimming and the sun's rays often have the opposite effect and tend to bring out the golden/yellow shades again. This can be remedied in various ways, such as silver shampoo or toning. Which is most effective and gentle on the hair? We will help to sort out the pros and cons between the 2 different treatments.
WHAT IS SILVER SHAMPOO?
Have you experienced that silver shampoo works the trick a few times and then gives the opposite effect with yellow, blue or violet elements? A shampoo is created to open the cuticles of the hair to clean. With that, you wash out the pigments you previously had in your hair, it is then common for the yellow pigments that lie underneath to come out. A silver shampoo is also extremely drying for your hair. If the hair is dry and porous, which it easily becomes from silver shampoo, they attract the blue purple pigments to the hair, leaving gray/blue shades.

WHAT IS A TONING?
A tint or tinting is used to change the tone of your blonde hair, maybe it is warmer/yellower than you want? Then a cold tint/tinting can be used to neutralize the hair and give it a cooler shade. Our True Colour tint opens the cuticle of the hair like a shampoo but at the same time nourishes with Ceramide A2 and macadamia oil for moisture, luster and shine. A tint has a durability of 4-6 weeks on healthy hair. On bleached, damaged hair, the durability is shorter for natural reasons and the treatment may need to be repeated before 4 weeks.
